Originally written by Solange & Raphael Saadiq back in 2016, 'Cranes In The Sky' was then reimagined for the dance floor only last year by Baltimore club legend, DJ Oji and Tracy Hamlin. With their ability to capture the cultural zeitgeist, their immaculate revision, was made Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune + heavily played across Radio 1, 6 Music, and NTS Radio.

Now, DJ Oji's much hyped track takes a new direction as KDA, one of the UK’s biggest electronic music producers steps up to provide an elegant take on the original. The two dub mixes are DJ weapons destined to rock dance floors across the planet with their NYC, Masters At Work inspired dub sensibility and leaning heavily on a killer bassline that you can’t but failed to be moved by.

Included also are remixes from British musician, songwriter and DJ Joe Goddard, who's Takes the track down an almost UK funky route. As well as SNCRTY, whose remix sees them tap in the sound of London’s Pirate radio house scene fusing afro house, UK funky, bassline, UKG and NYC house. It’s a unique fusion and a truly funky one that is set to ignite urban dance floors and anyone who wants to rock a forward-thinking dance floor.

Terry Farley, another UK dance legend from Boys Own to Farley & Heller to Roach Motel to the now hugely influential FAITH Fanzine, joins forces with Foundation Music’s Ross Allen to deliver a mix Inspired by NYC’s Ballroom scene and long nights at the Sound Factory with Junior Vasquez. A tune to march to and throw some shapes Ala “Vogue” if you are so inspired to.
